The terms and conditions outlined herein establish the contractual agreement between you and Harpenden Airport Taxi Fleet. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions as presented in this agreement.

Definitions

In this agreement, Harpenden Airport Taxi Fleet, "we," or "us" denotes the service-providing company. The terms "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company engaging in a booking with us.

Booking

2.1 Adequate time allocation for your journey, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in requirements, is your responsibility. Harpenden Airport Taxi Fleet is not accountable for delays resulting from your failure to allocate sufficient time or be ready for collection at the designated time.

2.2 You are responsible for choosing a car size suitable for passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee the carriage of excessive luggage. Please note that a child, regardless of age, counts as a single passenger.

2.3 Requests for wheelchair access must be made at the time of booking.

Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quotation is based on information provided by you and excludes VAT unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to modify the quoted amount in the event of substantial changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the landing time and airport parking costs. Any wait beyond this period incurs a standard waiting rate. While we strive to adjust for flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. Review it thoroughly to ensure accuracy, as we are not liable for delays or costs resulting from any unreported errors.

3.4 Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.

The Service

4.1 Passenger behavior during the journey is your responsibility. Cleaning charges may apply if the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively impacted.

4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the car.

4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on height, weight, and age.

4.4 Carrying passengers beyond licensing or insurance limits is not permitted.

Cancellations

5.1 Promptly inform us of any cancellations to avoid charges. Cancelling after dispatch incurs charges based on the driver's time and distance to the cancellation point.

5.2 Cancelling before dispatch through the online system may result in charges.

Liability

6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. Harpenden Airport Taxi Fleet is not responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative car promptly.

6.4 You shall not hold Harpenden Airport Taxi Fleet liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any omission or act by anyone in your party.

6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or any matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is put at risk due to abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds are provided for terminated journeys.

Miscellaneous

8.1 Harpenden Airport Taxi Fleet may subcontract obligations. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.

8.2 We may modify terms and conditions at any time, with changes reflected on this page. Existing bookings will proceed at rates applicable at the time of booking.

8.3 Information is processed following the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Harpenden Airport Taxi Fleet and yourself.

8.5 No third party may enforce rights under this agreement without a written agreement.

Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims or disputes beyond this timeframe will not be entertained by Harpenden Airport Taxi Fleet.
